Quick Calendar View Guide: Stars & Rewards

The Stars feature on Everblog Calendar lets you reward family members for completing chores or daily tasks. Stars help track progress, encourage positive habits, and can be redeemed for rewards.


  1. Award Stars for Tasks
  • When creating a task, assign a star value.
  • Upon completion, stars are added to the family member’s profile.
  • Suggested values:
    • Daily tasks: 5–10 stars
    • Important chores: 30 stars or more
  • You can also award extra stars outside of chores for special achievements.
  1. Create a Reward
  • In the Rewards tab, tap Add Reward.
  • Set the reward name and number of stars required (1–500).
  • Optional: choose a sound effect for completed rewards.
  • Rewards can be repeatable, allowing multiple redemptions.
  1. Redeem Stars
  • Members can redeem rewards once they have enough stars.
  • Redeemed stars are deducted from the profile and cannot be reused.
  • You can cancel a redeemed reward to restore stars if needed.
  1. Manage Rewards
  • Sort rewards in the app for easy organization.
  • Show completed rewards to track history.
  • Delete a reward if it’s no longer needed.
  • Cancel vs Delete:
    • Cancel: reverses a redemption but keeps the reward.
    • Delete: removes the reward completely.
