Quick Calendar View Guide: Chores Management

The Chores feature on Everblog Calendar helps you assign, track, and manage household tasks for family members. Chores can be linked to star rewards, repeated automatically, and tracked in each member’s profile.

  1. Create a Chore
  • On your Calendar device or Everblog App, tap Add Chore.
  • Enter the chore name, assign a family member, and set a due date/time.
  • Optional: assign star rewards for motivation.
  • Tap Save to add the chore.
  1. Star-Rewarded Tasks
  • You can create chores that grant stars directly via the app.
  1. Mark Chores Complete or Incomplete
  • Tap a chore in the Chores tab or calendar Schedule view.
  • Mark it Complete when finished or Incomplete if not done.
  • Completed chores update the family member’s profile and add stars if assigned.
  1. Edit, Delete, or Reassign Chores
  • Tap a chore → Edit to modify details.
  • Tap Delete to remove the chore permanently.
  • Reassign a chore to another family member if needed.
  • ⚠️ Note: Deleted chores cannot be recovered.
  1. Set Completion Sound
  • Enable a sound effect for completed chores to give instant feedback.
  1. Manage Overdue Chores
  • Overdue chores are highlighted in the Chores tab.
  • You can reassign, mark complete, or adjust due dates for overdue tasks.
  1. Repeat Options
  • For recurring chores, enable the Repeat option.
  • Choose frequency (daily, weekly, custom) and set the end date.
